The U7 and U8 Semi-Coed age divisions are an 4 v 4 format without goal keepers. This division adheres to the rules/format of the Michigan State Youth Soccer association (MSYSA) and the United States Soccer Federation (USSF) for all aspects of play and field/goal size.

There will be eight (8) 40 minute training sessions followed by a non-competitive game (no score is kept) and coaches will most likely add additional practice only sessions before the season begins. Game format will be four (4) 10 minute quarters. All training sessions/games are at the Rockey Weed Soccer Complex. Training session/games will most likely be on a weekday evening and/or on a Saturday morning, over the course of a five to six week season.

U7 is coed and it is anticipated that the U8 division will be separated by gender, however, it depends on the number of total teams formed by registration each season. If there are less than four (4) teams the format will shift to coed as we do not want team playing each other over and over again.

All players receive a uniform kit, which includes jersey, shorts, and socks; and end of season participation medals. Insurance is covered by Michigan State Youth Soccer Association through Got Soccer.

Players are allowed to play up to the next division (ie, age appropriate U8 is allowed to play up to U10, but not U12). The player should be one top 10% players in their respective division before playing up and must be in the upper 33% of the division they are requesting to move to. Coaches recommendations are always helpful.
