The U6 Coed age division is an 4 v 4 format without goal keepers. This division adheres to the rules/format of the Michigan State Youth Soccer association (MSYSA) and the United States Soccer Federation (USSF) for all aspects of play and field/goal size. 

There will be eight (8) 40 minute training sessions followed by a non-competitive game (no score is kept) and coaches may add additional practice only sessions before the season begins. Game format will be four (4) 8 minute quarters. All training session/games are at the Rockey Weed Soccer Complex. Training session/games will most likely be on a weekday evening and/or on a Saturday morning, over the course of a five to six week season.

TrainingAn accredited program will be run by parent coaches that will focus on fun games and exercises. 

End of season jamboree is included for with division

(Jamboree – a mini small sided tournament.)  There will be three 20 minutes scrimmages at U6 and three 25 minute scrimmages/games at U7 thru U10. Scrimmages/games will be back-to-back with 10 minute rotation breaks in between. U7 and U8 scrimmages, and U10 games will have referees. U6 jamboree will be at Rockey Weed. The U7 thru U10 jamboree will be at Rockey Weed or possibly another location within 15 miles of Rockey Weed. 

All players receive a uniform kit, which includes jersey, shorts, and socks; and end of season participation medals. Insurance is covered by Michigan State Youth Soccer Association through Got Soccer. 

Players are allowed to play up to the next division (ie, age appropriate U6 is allowed to play up to U7, but not U8). The player should be one top 10% players in their respective division before playing up and must be in the upper 33% of the division they are requesting to move to. Coaches recommendations are always helpful.
